Fish Recheado - This dish is another Portuguese influenced dish. Recheado means stuffing in Portuguese. For this dish, a whole fish is slit down in the side and is stuffed with a spicy red paste made of red chillies, tamarind, peppercorns, cumin, garlic and vinegar. It is then shallow fried. The dish is usually made with mackerel or pomfret. This dish is also very popular in Goa.
